Coastal Wings Hunting Packages

We have guided duck hunting trips, goose hunting trips, early teal hunts, sandhill crane hunts, upland hunts (pheasant, quail and chukkar) and alligator hunts tailored to suit a wide variety of birdl hunting needs. And if the descriptions below don't seem to be exactly what you're looking for, just ask, more often than not we're flexible enough to customize a hunt specifically for you.

All of our hunts are done with your convenience in mind. Unlike most guide operations, with Coastal Wings, the decoys will be out in the field or marsh when you arrive for your morning hunt. We do ask that you help pick up decoys at the end of the day.

Early Season Teal Hunt

Special Early Teal Hunts
Our guided duck hunting trip along the Texas Gulf Coast is fast and furious. The majority of the birds taken during this mid-September season are Bluewing Teal with a few scattered Greenwing Teal. The rare Cinnamon Teal is also occasionally found in the lucky hunter's bag.

Teal are hunted in the mornings from flooded rice fields from elevated duck blinds, keeping you and your equipment dry. Lightweight camo clothing with mosquito netting is called for during these warm days.

Goose Hunt
Morning Goose Hunt
The majority of our goose hunting is done in the 25,000+ acres of leased fields we have in the Bay City area. These fields consist of rice, soybean, corn, plowed ground, wheat, & rye grass. We utilize a combination of "Texas rags", windsocks, shells, silhouette, kites, & rotary wing decoys in our fields, usually numbering from 300 up to 1500 decoys.

You will be hunting out of "finisher" blinds, enabling you to remain concealed while allowing you to remain dry and warm. The majority of geese are snows, but large numbers of lessor Canada geese, Specklebellies (Whitefront), and Ross' are common in the area.
